Here is a great example of a fit for purpose packaging for industrial lamps. The shape of the box corresponds to the product being transported and so minimises empty space in the box. Reducing the empty space means that 33% more products can be placed on the pallet allowing an extra layer of articles compared to the previous packaging solution. The savings on the truck add up to 57% more products being transported at one time. Furthermore, the fragile product is well protected thanks to the cushioning effect of the corrugated box.
