For decades manufacturers have designed packaging solutions for transporting wine safely, but with the growth of e-commerce wine producers and retailers have identified new needs. Wine e-retailers have seen the growth of orders for single bottles, and typically glass bottles require strong packaging to withstand the risks of parcel shipping. Corrugated board has always been a preferred material in this market and this new packaging design proves that the material allows for endless fit-for-purpose innovations.
The new solution features tabs that protect the bottle in three axes of possible impact, preventing damage during bumps and falls. It is also easily assembled in less than 10 seconds, streamlining the packing process. The packaging structure blocks the bottle at the top, preventing movements inside the box and of course the corrugated board used is 100% recyclable.
