The Ecohelmet is a folding helmet designed for users of `bike sharing` that are increasingly popular in many cities.

The helmet is constructed from waterproof recycled paper that has been put together in a radial honeycomb structure. The honeycomb structure works much the same way as fluting does providing strength to the material. This unique structure provides the cyclist protection from head injury as it spreads the impact of a blow evenly around the head in case of a crash.

The helmet can be folded flat when not in use and a biodegradable coating makes it resistant to rain for up to three hours. What`s more the helmet is 100% recyclable.
